Cirrhosis of Liver:

A dysfunction:

Cirrhosis is detected in a person when anatomically by widespread nodules in the liver combined with fibrosis and nodule formation causes distortion of the normal liver architecture, which interferes with blood flow through the liver. Cirrhosis of liver leads to an inability of the liver to perform its biochemical functions that can complicate the health. This problem is caused from damage to liver cells from
toxins, inflammation, metabolic derangements and other causes. These Damaged and dead liver cells are replaced by fibrous tissue, which leads to fibrosis (scarring) and then Liver cells regenerate in an abnormal pattern primarily forming nodules that are surrounded by fibrous tissue. It is observes that blood flow is decreased to the liver and blood back up in the portal vein and portal circulation leads to some of the serious complications of cirrhosis.

Problems by cirrhosis:

The people detected with this disorder bruise easily because their blood does not clot the right way it is seen when these people have a cut, it may bleed for a long time. There is a danger of bursting of blood vessels around the esophagus (in the throat) as the intestines can stretch and become thin. Due to this liver dysfunction there are toxins developed that can hurt your brain and in extreme cases people with cirrhosis are also more likely to get liver cancer. It is seen that if the cirrhosis is so bad that the liver stops working, the only treatment is a liver transplant.

Prevention of this problem:

One should avoid alcohol, as there can be a serious problem that can result into severe disorder of the liver. The doctor to whom one is consulting should be informed about the medicines one is taking as many medicines and herbal remedies are dangerous to people with cirrhosis. There should be a proper health care routine and in addition to your regular doctor visits, you will need tests at least once a year to check your liver and your risk for bleeding problems. As a damaged liver cannot remove toxins from the blood, causing them to accumulate in the blood and eventually the brain the necessary precautions should be taken.
